Update and TSW camouflage!
Hey all!
I havent been around for the past week. Super busy with events and summer stuff.
Anyhow a brief update
Skin is doing alright. I flared this weekend. I have noticed the second I stop using my fish oil I flare. It has a steroid effect for me. Really calms my skin down. Upsetting though because it cost quite a bit each month.
I had to go to a 25th anniversary banquet this past weekend with flarish skin. Although in the photos you can't tell, my skin is inflamed. I tried to just rock it anyway and ignore the fact my skin wasn't silky smooth like everyone else's.
One thing I try to do with during TSW is highlight my none TSW affected areas. So I wore hot red lipstick to draw attention to my face and not neck. A fascinator to draw attention to my hair and not my arms. Smooth silky dress material to create an over all smooth look.
Check out the pics and see how I kicked my flare in the butt!! How do you find ways to 'camoflauge' your skin?
Your skin is looking amazing! So happy for you! I don't bother to camouflage! I just cover up all over! :)
ReplyDeleteWow Vee you look gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteOMG Vee u look SO GOOD! I am the same as Tracy, covering up as much as I can. But I also have pretty rough skin everywhere so it's hard to show any "good skin". Awesome job rocking the red lip :D
ReplyDelete@Tracy-I remember that stage if covering up everything. I found it quite liberating though when I began to just "rock" my skin
ReplyDelete@M-thank you so much! I had always wanted to wear a 'facinator'
@Megan-hey even if its only your feet that has nice skin, do pedicures and rock really cute shoes! :D I have never in my life worn lipstick, so this was a HUGE step for me. I also found the red lipstick took the attention from my upper lip which is chapped and crusty! :(
So cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd fish oil helps!? Hmm I may need to try
ReplyDeleteyou sure kicked TSW right where it hurts girl! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteI cant wear jewellery, makeup or sleeves outfits or short skirts. These things are now on my looking forward list. ; )
@ Gaybreal-yes fish oil is the stuff!!
Delete@ Y Sho-Yes I did! You know what you should do? Buy a hope chest and whenever you see things you can wear when your healed, buy them and put them in the chest :)
Vee you look so gorgeous! Makes me jealous girl.
ReplyDeleteOh its an allusion! :)hehe! Thanks though! :)
